Naturally grown plants have simple laminas, in cutivation, pinnae occasionally develop.

Notes
The plants were found in a single yet substantial population close to Wolesley, in mountain fynbos. In green, the plants are entirely reminiscent of P. longifolium, whereas the flower structure clearly places these plants into the P. trifoliolatum group.
