PELARGONIUM NOTES
Never tuberous, but with succulent short stems, not spiny, with persistent stipules, perennial, deciduous. Leaves neither glaucous, nor aromatic. Flowers not scented, petals subequal, hypanthium longer than the pedicel, fertile stamens 5, inflorescence branched. Chromosome number, x = 11.
