PELARGONIUM NOTES
This
site is dedicated to pelargonium species (Pelargonium L.).
Use the menu on the left to navigate between sections of the genus and species.
Each species page ideally contains a photograph of the species in its natural environment or in cultivation, a b&w scan of a typical leaf in cultvation, a colour photograph of a typical flower, and occasionally a historic illustration of the species. There are currently full descriptions of 157 species, more than a half of the genus.
The Pelargonium Notes are a new feature of the website, and contributions are invited on ecology, horticulture, identification, conservation or any other aspect of pelargonium species.
